Did you know that in the 1880’s Chief Michel of Yale was considered Seabird Island’s first Chief? Since 1880, Seabird Island has only had 7 Chiefs.

The Seabird Island Band would like to officially welcome you to our new and improved website! We encourage you to have a look around, read information about how you can attain services, how you can invest in Seabird Island, or even how you can donate.
In the upcoming months, you will also be apply for Lalme’ Iwesawtexw Elementary and High School as well as Seabird College and upon acceptance receive a username and password that will allow you to view your courses, speak to your teacher, apply for further courses, see your grades and assignments, and much more! If you’re a Band Member, you can request a username and password that will allow you to login and sign-up to be added to the housing list, and view how you stand on the housing list, as well as request to use a field or board room in the office.
