For many years the Seabird community has been asking for a detox, treatment and recovery facility closer to home more and easily available. We are happy to announce that our facilities are now open. We have a 13 bed Men’s Health & Healing Home and 10 bed Women’s Health & Healing Home. For now, the “recovery” program is open to people who have already detoxed and are wanting to live a healthier lifestyle. If you, your friend or family member need assistance and don’t know where to turn please contact Lolly Andrew, acting Mental Health Program Supervisor.

Our long term plan is to offer Detox, Treatment and Recovery in a new Wellness Center building. In the meantime, we are grateful to Chief and Council for allocating these houses, which will return to the housing pool in approximately 1 year. We are not expecting any changes or disturbances in your neighbourhoods. We are working with security who will be checking the community regularly.

  • Drug and alcohol free homes

Did you know…
Expanding our Health and Education Services to the regional areas, allows us to offer more services to not only our partner communities, it also greatly benefits our Community Members. Without these partnerships, we would not be able to offer many of our services. By expanding our client base, we are able to offer more services that we would normally not be able to have in a community of our size.
