FAQ

The activities you do during elder’s fitness sessions are based on your ability and activity level. A trainer will work with you to find activities that are right for you.
You can take part in the elder’s fitness program at any time.
Whether you are very active or not really active, our trainers will work with you to get you to be as fit as you’d like to be.
Yes! Starting in 2014 we began offering in-home fitness classes for elders who are unable to go to the fitness centre. Call Margarette de Groot at (604) 796-2177 or email recreation@seabirdisland.ca to request an in-home fitness class.
