Prenatal Circle
The Seabird Island Prenatal Program is offering a Prenatal Circle twice per month for Pregnant Mom’s up until their baby is 6 weeks old. This Prenatal Group meets at Seabird Island in the Elders’ room, usually on a Friday from 1-3pm. Group includes a light snack, learning to take your own blood pressure and weight, listening to baby’s heart beat and talking about Healthy Pregnancy and Newborns. A good food bag is given out to each family who attends.
Goal
Our goal is to start every First Nation’s child’s life as strongly and as healthily as possible by offering parents one-on-one and group education from nurses and First Nations parents.
