Seabird College #3550 is a private post-secondary educational institution fully registered and recognized by the Private Career Training Institutions Agency (PCTIA) of British Columbia in Canada.

What is Registration?
Registration is a process undertaken by institutions who wish to prove their educational and operational excellence based on standards established by the Private Career Training Institutions Agency (PCTIA) of BC and increase student confidence in the particular institution.

Who awards Registration?
The registration is awarded by the Private Career Training Institutions Agency (PCTIA) of BC, a government organization in the province of British Columbia. PCTIA is responsible for establishing education standards that must be met by the institutions seeking to achieve or maintain registration.

How "Registration" protect Students?
Students attending registered private career training institutions in British Columbia have their tuition fees protected by the Student Training Completion Fund (STCF). The STCF provides tuition train out funding in the case of the closure of a private career training institution. In order to be registered, an institution must provide the PCTIA with an initial contribution to the Student Training Completion Fund. After being registered, the institution must remit to the STCF, 1% of the tuition it receives each month, by the 15th of the following month.
