We are committed to providing the best medical care available to our clients. The Doctor’s Office offers First Nations and non-First Nations easily accessible, quality health care.

Full Medical Services

Located within the Seabird Island Band Office, our beautiful facility comprises a reception and waiting area, as well as five patient rooms.

On-site Pharmacy

Our office is located metres away from a compounding pharmacy to make getting your prescriptions filled a breeze. The pharmacy is open Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 4:30pm.

Culturally Aware

Our Doctors’ provide culturally sensitive and individualized care in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Building Relationships

We are committed to providing holistic care. Our Doctors are dedicated to building relationships with clients, have knowledge of cultural challenges and provide individualized care and treatment.

Chronic Care

Our clinic specializes in chronic illness care. Many of our patients have one or more illness and require on-going care and health management.

Linked Care

We connect eligible patients with on-site counselors, psychiatrist, diabetic lab sessions, nutritionists, and many more services that will provide a positive impact on their care.

Our Staff

Dr. Marcella Beaulieu – Physician

Dr. Beaulieu is originally from the Sandy Bay First Nation in Manitoba. Her traditional name is Kappamaajikwe, which means “women of the wind”. A resident of Harrison Hot Springs, Dr. Beaulieu enjoys working at the Seabird Island Doctor’s Office because the people feel like family.

Dr. Robert Fox – Physician

Dr. Fox is originally from the Blood Reserve in Southern Alberta. His traditional name, “Gohkkanahkami”, means “the morning crier”. Dr. Fox enjoys spending time with his wife and their beautiful bouncing boy. Before coming to Seabird Island, Dr. Fox worked for five years in rural towns in Alberta.

Stephen Martin – Nurse Practitioner

Stephen Martin is from Swan River in Manitoba. Stephen is kept busy outside of work with his twin boys and little girl. Stephen’s practice began in 2012 and it has always been with First Nation communities. Stephen is honoured to be at Seabird and loves working here and meeting the community members.

We are easy to find across from the Pharmacy at 2895 Chowat Road, Agassiz BC V0M 1A0.
