Dr. Amro Latif
Egyptian born and raised, Dr. Latif has been practicing dentistry since 1989. Until joining Seabird Island in March 2016 (a memorable 7 years), Dr. Latif has practiced in Egypt, the beautiful Canadian Northwest Territories, and finally the Lower Mainland.
Dr. Latif loves what he gets to practice and enjoys incorporating his sense of humour throughout the day while doing it. Outside of work, Dr. Latif enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and two kids and is grateful for everything that he has gone through and has been blessed with.
Dr. Banmeet Kalra
General Dentist, earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta in June of 2016. She is very passionate about dentistry and is excited to continue to learn everything there is to know in the dental world. Her energetic and outgoing personality makes her very personable and she takes great pride in her patients.
Dr. Kalra loves participating in all dental procedures including, crowns, root canals, extractions, bridges and restorations. She’s very good with children and will make sure that every child’s first dental experience is a good one. She has experience working with elderly people in care homes and old age homes as a mobile dentist . Dr. Kalra is always ready to learn new techniques and technologies.
She has been working in the seabird community for about 6 years.
She loves to spend quality time with her family and friends as well as travelling, singing and baking. She likes to practice gratitude to the universe on everyday basis.

Hours & location
Our clinic is easily accessible with plenty of free parking and conveniently located within the Seabird Island Band Office at at 2895 Chowat Road, Agassiz BC V0M 1A0.
We are open Monday – Thursday from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with walk-in pain clinics occurring every Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
COVID-19 changes in operation
- we will not be offering our walk in clinic on Tuesdays.
