Community Update & Volunteer Callout to help Elders with their yards!
A huge thank you to everyone who came out to our barbeques at the Fire Department – especially the nine Elders who signed up for the FireSmart home assessments!
Reminder: Bins will be picked up Monday, May 5th, so let’s make the most of the weekend.
We’re looking for volunteers to help these Elders with yard tasks over the weekend – just 1-2 hours of your time can make a big difference! If you have a truck and trailer, that would be especially helpful for some of the larger items.
Cleanup supplies will be provided.
The core set up of our work will be on Sthitsem with additional locations to choose from. Look for the FireSmart lawn signs and tent.
