Sq’éwqel (Seabird Island) oversees maintaining essential infrastructure that allows Community Members to thrive. Custodial teams sustain safe facilities for over 21 community buildings. Ensuring that programs have functional clean spaces to work in.
Our Public Works crew coordinates water access, waste removal, road maintenance and groundskeeping. Expertly managing our community’s water system and sewage and drainage networks. They also preserve roads, coordinate garbage collection, keep public areas pristine and maintain recreational infrastructure.
Our Housing team aids with renovations, while supporting sustainable rental options for Members. We aim to build housing structures as vibrant as the people within them.
Whether upgrading fixtures, expanding networks, grooming landscapes or handling emergency repairs, our staff tackles infrastructure needs both big and small. We take pride in ensuring our nation stands on sturdy foundations today, so our children inherit even greater promises tomorrow.
