AE Concrete
Increasing AE Concrete’s lease to 75 years will help it plan for the future. It will also secure Seabird Island a steady source of revenue. AEC currently pays $80,000 a month in rent.
BC Housing
BC Housing will fund the construction of affordable housing for Band Members with a forgivable loan, saving over 21 million dollars. Seabird must lease the land to the Seabird Housing Society for 42 years (as landlords) for this to happen.
Seabird Island Land Code only permits 25 year leases.
VOTE ✓YES to extend these leases and help Seabird GROW.
