Big Black Bear spotted on Chowat Rd. half way to the Gas Bar
Bears out this time of year, please take a look around your yard. There are ways you can reduce your risk around your yard.
- DO NOT feed the bears
- Only take your garbage out the morning of garbage day
- Discard fish guts (do not keep them around the community)
- Pick all your fruit and berries, don’t leave them to nature to process
- Clean your barbecue
Please keep an eye on your children and do not walk alone!
