Hello Sq’éwqel Members, as we begin planning for our Christmas Gift Cards for the community, we’d love to hear your feedback. In previous years, we have provided gift cards to our Members and we are currently considering two options:

1- 𝗟𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗮𝘄 (𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲) 𝗚𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 Can be used at Loblaw-affiliated stores. No activation fees and we receive a discount on purchased cards, allowing more funds to go directly to the community. Lost cards can be cancelled and replaced. Loblaw-affiliated stores offer a wide variety of items, including groceries, toys, clothing, decorations, and household goods.

2- 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗚𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 Can be used in many locations and online retailers. Lost cards cannot be cancelled or replaced. There is high activation fees, increasing the overall costs. Members must call and activate the cards.
