Seabird Island's Medical Transportation Program

Seabird Island’s Medical Transportation program, supported by First Nations Health Authority, provides assistance with travel costs for eligible medical appointments and treatments. With prior approval, we can aid with expenses related to transportation, meals, and accommodations when accessing necessary off-reserve healthcare services.

The program offers financial support for travel to specialist visits, substance abuse treatment, and other essential care not available within the community. For those unable to arrange their own transportation, we can also coordinate driver services to appointments.

Please contact our team to learn more about eligibility, required documentation, and how we can support your healthcare access needs. We’re here to help you get to vital medical care.
