Aboriginal Head Start On-Reserve

We provide children and families opportunities to enjoy nutritious snacks and meals, activities, circle, culture and language, and fieldtrips.

Aboriginal Infant Development

We offer a variety of culturally-appropriate supports and resources for Aboriginal parents and their child who are at risk of, or who may be experiencing developmental delays.


A-Pals is a seven session program for families with children 3 to 6 years of age to encourage and support literacy development of their child’s learning.


We offer off-reserve families with children 0-6 years of age as well as expecting parents the ability to access early learning and early intervention programs.


The Daycare Centre is a fully licensed group childcare facility with spaces for 49 children between the ages of 3 months – Kindergarten.

Infant massage

Our Aboriginal Infant Development team provides Infant Massage lessons to parents of newborns from birth to 12 months of age.

Maternal Child Health


Maternal Child Health program supports First Nation families from pregnancy to child birth and beyond, helping families through the many joys and challenges of having a baby.



The Midwifery program provides care to low-risk women and their families during pregnancy, labor, and up to 6 weeks postpartum.

Pre & post natal


The Pre & Post Natal program provides group as well as one-on-one educational services for pregnant or new moms of children up to 1 year and their families.

Prenatal circle


A group for pregnant women and/or moms with newborns and their families that meets twice per month, from 1-3, usually on a Friday.



The Pre-school uses a unique curriculum that gives our teachers the tools they need to assist in helping your child reach their full potential.

Someone so small

Someone so Small places emphasis on large motor movement, play-based, singing (music), early language development, opportunity for building relationships with parents and families that provide informal education opportunities.

Speech and language

We offer culturally sensitive speech and language services to meet the communication needs of our Aboriginal Children.

Summer recreation


This licensed childcare program that runs throughout the school year and during breaks. We support healthy, active lifestyles through promoting a variety of nutritious snacks and daily physical activity.

Supported child development

We provide services to Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal children who require extra support due to physical, social, intellectual, emotional and developmental challenges.
